HomeMonitoring.app

Every watt, every camera, every drop — one dashboard. Real-time telemetry for your home: solar and grid energy, security cameras and alarms, pool chemistry, and garden, live on your phone.

One click, no signup — explore a live demo with sample data.

What it watches

Energy

Solar production, grid import/export, and home consumption live — with PSE&G time-of-use dollar math on every chart.

Security

Ring cameras and alarm panel in one place: live snapshots, sensor states, and battery alerts before they die.

Water

Pool chemistry tracking with Leslie's-style test logging, CSV import, and photo OCR for test strips.

Garden

Tasks and mow log for the yard, alongside everything else.

How it works?

Home server — the collectors

A Windows box in the house runs the collectors as system services: Python daemons poll the Hoymiles solar inverter and the Chint grid meter over Modbus, ring-mqtt bridges the Ring alarm and cameras, and go2rtc serves the video streams. They all feed one local WebSocket relay.

Cloudflare Tunnel — the pipe

A single Cloudflare tunnel exposes that WebSocket to the internet. No open ports, no port forwarding, no dynamic-DNS hacks — the home network initiates everything outbound.

Vercel — this site

The Next.js frontend you're reading now. The landing page is static and edge-cached; once you log in, the app opens a live WebSocket straight through the tunnel to your home server for real-time telemetry.

Supabase — the memory

Postgres does the remembering: auth and roles, telemetry history, pool chemistry logs, notification settings. The live numbers come from home; the history comes from here.
